When the A&E Network initially produced "Storage Wars", they had tried to lure Casey Nezhoda and her husband but due to a lack of time they declined the opportunity due to the fact that Casey was taking care of her baby and Rene needed to focus on her company. The couple were able to make an appearance in the fourth season as recurring cast members, they also acted as buyers during the first six episodes prior to when they joined the cast as main characters in the following season.
